— Services for Ella M. Papenhausen, 93, Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, with the Rev. Glenda Kermode officiating. Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Cemetery, Fresno, Calif.

Mrs. Papenhausen died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1996, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 14, 1902, in Linwood, the daughter of Lemuel S. and Anna E. Hilner Wiley.

Mrs. Papenhausen moved to Tonganoxie in 1918 from Leavenworth. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Fresno, Calif.

She married Charles Papenhausen on June 7, 1920, in Tonganoxie. He died March 9, 1972.

Survivors include a son, Russell W. Papenhausen, Clovis, Calif.; three daughters, Dorothy Stewart, Tonganoxie, Betty Bell, Gladstone, Mo., and Carol Ellsworth, Fresno, Calif.; three brothers, Othal Wiley, Yuma, Ariz., Roy Wiley, Leavenworth, and Walter Wiley, Tonganoxie; a sister, Elizabeth Hammons, Tonganoxie; and 13 grandchildren.

The family will meet with friends from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Leavenworth County Hospice.
