— Services for Alvis L. "Pete" DeHoff, 72, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. DeHoff died Friday, Feb. 2, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 14, 1923, in Reno, the son of Clifford and Stella Botts DeHoff.

He was a member of the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church and Local No. 10, International Association of Bridge and Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers, Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. DeHoff married Colene Slawson in 1953 in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, William A., Lenexa; a daughter, Susan Andrews, Tonganoxie; a brother, Leonard, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Wilma Pusch, Mission, Tex., and Mary Walker, Tonganoxie; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.

The family suggests memorials to the Kansas University volleyball team. They may be sent in care of the funeral home.
