— Services for John R. "Rick" Wonnell, 43, McLouth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at McLouth United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery, north of McLouth.

Mr. Wonnell died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 9, 1953, in Lawrence, the son of Earl E. and Constance MacAnanny Wonnell.

He was a lifelong resident of McLouth. He attended McLouth schools and graduated in 1971. He attended Kansas University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business.

He was a salesman for the Ed Marling Co., Lawrence, for 14 years. He formerly worked at Ray Stoneback's Furniture Store, Lawrence.

He was an avid bowler, participating for several years in various leagues.

He married Lathaire M. Dyche on Aug. 1, 1975, in McLouth. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his father, McLouth; and four brothers, Earl, Liberty, Mo., Jim, Oskaloosa, Tom, San Jose, Calif., and Kenneth "Skip," Olathe.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
