— Services for Adolph O. Tiemann, 81, McLouth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McLouth United Methodist Church. Burial will be at McLouth Cemetery.

Mr. Tiemann died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 10, 1915, in Granger, Tex., the son of Willie H. and Annie Melner Tiemann.

Mr. Tiemann had lived in McLouth for 50 years. He was superintendent for the city of McLouth and retired on Jan. 1, 1981. He served in Europe in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a charter member of the Williams-Kesinger American Legion Post No. 392, McLouth, and was a member of the McLouth Kiwanis Club. He was a longtime board member and caretaker of the McLouth Cemetery.

He married Freda Susan Scott on May 1, 1943, at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Tex. She died March 22, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Tiemann, Lawrence; a daughter, Linda Poe, McLouth; two sisters, Esther Mikseka and Lillie Ahrens, both of Brenham, Tex.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, which is in charge of arrangements.

The family suggests memorials to the McLouth United Methodist Church Building Fund.
