FASHION REVUE WINNERS NAMED

The Douglas County 4-H Fashion Revue for members enrolled in the clothing and textile project was held on July 25.

More than 100 4-H youth ranging in age from 7 to 19 years old modeled about 300 garments. The 4-H'ers purchased or constructed these outfits and practiced many skills in the process including consumerism and decision-making.

About 15 4-H'ers, ages 12 and older, planned and organized the Public Fashion Revue on July 26 with the theme Modeling For the Gold.

At this event the following winners were announced: Constructed Garment: Senior Division -- Champion, Brandie Rice, Lone Star 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Megan Kalb, Vinland Valley 4-H Club. Intermediate Division -- Champion, Melissa Colgan, Clinton Eagles 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Heather Hinshaw, Lone Star 4-H Club. Junior Division -- Champion, Erin Ashcraft, Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club, Reserve Champion, Michelle Colgan, Clinton Eagles 4-H Club.

Purchases Garments for Young Women: Senior Division -- Champion, Brandie Rice, Lone Star 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Sally Jennings, Lone Star 4-H Club. Intermediate Division -- Champion, Samie Milligan, Meadowlark 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Lindsay O'Bryon, Cottonwood 4-H Club. Junior Division -- Champion, Kallie Keen, Lone Star 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Lauren Gilges, Worden Workers 4-H Club.

Purchased Garments for Young Men: Senior Division -- Champion, Jeff Meseraull, Clinton Eagles 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Loren Baldwin, Clinton Eagles 4-H Club. Intermediate Division -- Champion, Tyler Trowbridge, Kanza 4-H Club; Reserve champion, Jesse Lilyhorn, Meadowlark 4-H Club. Junior Division -- Champion, Luke Wempe, Clinton Eagles 4-H Club; Reserve Champion, Michael Krumm, Lone Star 4-H Club.
