— Graveside services for Marion W. Armstrong, 57, Rogers, Ark., will be at 2 p.m. today at Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mr. Armstrong died Tuesday, April 2, 1996, at his home in Rogers.

He was born April 17, 1938, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Ralph C. and Nellie M. Conlley Armstrong.

He attended the Salt City Business College in Hutchinson.

He had lived in Rogers for 14 years, moving from Tonganoxie.

Mr. Armstrong had been a foreman and machine operator for the Kansas State Highway Department. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Galena and Moose Lodge No. 877 in Springdale.

He married Patricia Hassett on Nov. 17, 1970 in Miami, Okla. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Cecil Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Doug Coleman, Copan, Okla., and David Coleman, Rosehill; five daughters, Carolyn Armstrong, Ladonna Armstrong, Cathy Starcher and Debbie Alexander, both Tonganoxie, and Kelli Brewer, Rogers; three sisters, Jean Mueller, Kendall, Lois Graham, Collinsville, Okla., and Loreta Hime, Oskaloosa; and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Quisenberry Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assn. or St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers.

Quisenberry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
