Why were Cordley School's air conditioners sold at an auction when they could have been used at Pinckney and West Junior High?

The air conditioners that came out of existing buildings were wired for 220 volts, said Craig Fiegel, assistant superintendent for administrative services.

"We don't have the capability at Pinckney and West to use them," he said.

He added that it would not have been fiscally responsible to wire the West and Pinckney buildings for 220 volts for just one year since both schools will receive central air conditioning next year.
