Mabel C. Duver

Services for Mabel C. Duver, 85, Lee's Summit, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence with John Beeghley officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Duver died Friday, Oct. 27, 1995.

She was born Dec. 24, 1909 in Baldwin, the daughter of Abraham Jacob and Della May Wingert Flory.

Mrs. Duver, a lifelong Douglas County resident, worked at Mallott Hardware Store in Lawrence for several years. She retired in 1972. She moved to John Knox Village in June 1977.

She was a member of the Village Church of John Knox Village and the Order of Beauceant in Lawrence. She was a volunteer at John Knox Village Farmer's Market and worked with the John Knox Village Resident Financial Assistance Fund.

She married Cecil Wilfred Duver on March 22, 1930, in Baldwin. He died Nov. 27, 1989.

Survivors include a brother, Wesley W. Flory, Tucson, Ariz., and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to John Knox Village Foundation.
