Ottawa — Services for Lawrence H. Kramer, 66, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa with the Rev. Henry Roberts Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
Mr. Kramer died Thursday, Oct. 26, 1995, at an Ottawa hospital.
He was born April 29, 1929, in Ottawa, the son of Joseph and M. Maude Kramer. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident.
He graduated in 1947 from Ottawa High School and earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry and mathematics in 1953 from Ottawa University. He was sales and office manger for Bennett Creamery from 1943 to 1967. He was office manager for Mid-American Dairyman in Ottawa from 1967 to 1969 and plant manager there until 1970. He was senior vice president/corporate secretary and administrative assistant to the president from 1970 to 1990 at Franklin Savings Assn.
Mr. Kramer was a past member of the board of trustees at Ottawa University and the board of directors for the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and Franklin Savings Assn. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Ottawa Elks Lodge No. 803 and was vice president of the Ottawa Babe Ruth Baseball League in 1977.
Mr. Kramer married Winifred M. Fischer on April 13, 1952, at the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She died Nov. 3, 1981.
Survivors include four children, Debra Kramer, Lawrence, Diane Row, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and Douglas and Deron Kramer, both of Ottawa; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Sunday until service time Monday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The family suggests memorials to Ottawa University or the Franklin County Chapter of the American Heart Assn.
