— Services for Pauline Johanning, 80, Baldwin, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Worden. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Johanning died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995 at her home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Worden, the daughter of John and Sophia Haas Stoebener.

She was a lifelong resident of the Worden and Baldwin area. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ near Worden, where she participated in the women's fellowship and taught Sunday school. She was also a member of the Jolly Stitcher's Club in Worden.

She married Alvin Johanning on June 10, 1942, in Worden. He died Feb. 21, 1982.

Survivors include three sons, Richard Johanning, Baldwin, Marlin Johanning, Atchison, and Paul Johanning, Emporia; three brothers, Arnold Stoebener, Baldwin, and Walter and Oscar Stoebener, both of Worden; a sister, Norma Schwarz, Worden; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to the American Bible Society or St. John's Church of Christ. They may be sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin, which is in charge of arrangements.
