— Services for Kelly Scott Combs, 35, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons, with the Rev. James Spon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Combs died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 1995, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He was born April 16, 1960, in Joplin, Mo., the son of Richard and Patricia Silverwood Combs.

He grew up in Parsons and attended Pittsburg State University, where he earned a degree in accounting in 1987. He worked in theater management in Houston and Denver. He later moved to San Francisco, where he worked as an administrative assistant at the University of California and later for a law firm. He recently worked for the Resolution Trust Corporation in Kansas City until it closed in June.

Mr. Combs attended First Baptist Church in Parsons. He had traveled extensively and enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his father, of Parsons; a brother, Cris Combs, Lawrence; a sister, Connie Richman, Hutchinson; and his grandmother, Carol Combs, Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his mother on March 26, 1993, and an infant brother in 1955.

The family suggest memorials to Parsons Arboretum, Parsons Operation Bright Touch or the Kansas City Community AIDS Network.

Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
