Memorial services for Doris D. Henton, 77, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Ron Goodman officiating.
Mrs. Henton died Thursday, Nov. 9, 1995, at Sterling Heights nursing home in Lawrence.
She was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Frank and Margaret Irvine Dick.
She worked 27 years at Douglas County Bank, retiring in 1978 as assistant cashier.
Mrs. Henton was a member of First Christian Church, the Stephen Ministry and a former member of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She married John W. Henton on Sept. 30, 1944, in Kansas City, Kan. He died Aug. 6, 1987.
Survivors include a stepson, Robert Henton, Blue Springs, Mo.; three sisters, Ruby Evans, Ozawkie, Hazel Smith, Green Valley, Ariz., and Marjorie Joyce, Morrison, Colo.; and a great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to Douglas County Hospice Care or the charity of the donor's choice. They may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
