Debra Ann Pulis

Overbrook -- Services for Debra Ann Pulis, 37, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood-Roberts Funeral Home in Overbrook, with the Rev. Mary Downer officiating. Burial will be in Carbondale Cemetery.

Ms. Pulis died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1995, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born Nov. 27, 1957, in Wichita, the daughter of Bill and Twila Barnett Pulis. She attended elementary school in Wichita and graduated from Gardner High School in 1976. She attended college at Baker University and Kansas University as an art student.

Ms. Pulis moved to Lawrence from Baldwin in 1991. She was employed as a certified nurses aide by Trinity Respite Care of Lawrence. She was a member of the Westlink Christian Church in Wichita.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Twila and Don Parkhurst, Carbondale; her father and stepmother, Bill and Deb Pulis, Atlanta; four sisters, Brenda Sims, Ottawa, Sheila Sedam, Carbondale, Martha Cowen, Norton, and Janella Lane, Topeka; and grandparents, Monnie Barnett, Wellington, and Harold and Mary Pulis, Poteau, Okla.

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends.

The family suggests memorials to the United Scleroderma Foundation in care of Greenwood-Roberts Funeral Home, Overbrook 66524.
