Services for Florence M. Watts Renner, 74, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eudora Assembly of God Church in Eudora with the Rev. Glenn Weld officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Renner died Wednesday, May 24, 1995, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.

She was born May 18, 1921, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of George Andrew and Olive Emma Thurston Taber. She moved to the Kansas City area as a child and then to the Linwood, Eudora and Lawrence areas.

She worked at United Film Service, Westinghouse, Bendix and the Internal Revenue Service, all in Kansas City. She later worked as an assembler at King Radio in Lawrence. She was a Sunday school teacher and a member of Eudora Assembly of God Church and the Happy Hour club in Eudora.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Watts Brooks Shockley, Lawrence; a brother, Charles A. Taber, Hesperia, Calif.; three sisters, Marguerite L. Green, Edwardsville, Louise E. Burrell, Wellsville, and Helen G. Boone, Kansas City, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to Eudora Assembly of God Church, in care of the funeral home.
