Memorial services for Ethel C. McAdam, 94, Lostock Gralam, England, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Revs. Charles Gilmore and Jeff Martin officiating.
Mrs. McAdam died April 19, 1995, at Eton Hall Nursing Home in Bowdon, England.
She was born April 6, 1901, in Manchester, England, the daughter of Bertram and Sarah Jane Wearing Andrews.
She was a seamstress and sales clerk. Since retiring in 1967, she divided her time between her daughter's home in Lawrence and other relatives in England. While in Lawrence, she attended services at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Brookdale Home Extension Unit.
She married Alexander McAdam on April 7, 1928, in Manchester, England. He died Oct. 23, 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Beryl Kaufman, Lawrence; a sister, Anice Walters, Lostock Gralam, England; two grandsons; and a stepgreat-grandson.
