Services for Goldie Beatrice Sloan, 83, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. M. Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sloan died Sunday, March 12, 1995, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 12, 1912, in Winona, Mo., the daughter of John Richmond and Rosabelle Bradley Roberts. She had lived in Lawrence since 1939, when she moved from Eminence, Mo.
Mrs. Sloan was a homemaker. She attended Indian Hills Church of God in Lawrence.
She married Harl T. Sloan on March 23, 1929, in Eminence, Mo. He died Feb. 2, 1989.
Survivors include three sons, Paul, Winona, Mo., and Howard and Kenneth, both of Lawrence; a sister, Daisy Mae Allen, Birch Tree, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation, in care of the mortuary.
