Wellsville Services for Harry Edward Miller, 86, Wellsville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Wilson and Son Chapel here. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery in Miami County.
Mr. Miller died Monday, Jan. 16, 1995, at his daughter's home in Andover.
He was born Sept. 19, 1908, in Mississippi County, Mo., the son of Carl E. and Esther Pinkney McGill Miller.
He was a milk carrier for The Dairy Gold Co. of Cheyenne, Wyo., for 11 years. Later, he was as a cook in Kansas and he and his wife owned and operated a restaurant in Lawrence.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Wellsville Senior Citizens group. He participated in the Heart to Heart Group, where he enjoyed visiting with Wellsville Grade School children. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.
He married Maxine Elliot on Aug. 15, 1930, in Lawrence. She died on Jan. 16, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Maurice, Orange, Tex.; two daughters, Esther Troutt, Olathe, and Audra Journagan, Andover; two brothers, David F., Crossville, Tenn., and Robert G., Sikeston, Mo.; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, where the family will meet with friends.
The family suggests memorials to the Wellsville Senior Citizen Community Building. They may be sent in care of the chapel.
