— Services for Lloyd T. Davis, 88, Topeka, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be in Washington Creek Cemetery, in rural Douglas County.

Mr. Davis died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995, at Jefferson County Geriatrics Center in Winchester.

He was born March 1, 1906, in Hutchinson, the son of Ashael Harvey and Iva Elizabeth Firestone Davis. He graduated from Overbrook High School in 1926, and lived in Overbrook, Silver Lake, St. Marys and Maple Hill before moving to Topeka.

He farmed until 1941, then became a stationary engineer and later a plumber/steamfitter for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka until his retirement.

Mr. Davis was a member of the Topeka Church of the Brethren.

He married Ina M. Miller on June 7, 1928, in Oskaloosa. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Gene E., Meriden, and John H., Grand Rapids, Mich.; a brother, William H., Topeka; three sisters, Euna Cochran, Irene Bullard and Lucille Bahner, all of Topeka; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the church or to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders in Topeka.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
