Eudora — Services for Dennis W. Bonebrake, 47, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cornerstone Church in Eudora, with the Rev. Tim Bonebrake officiating. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.
Mr. Bonebrake died Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Lanagan, Mo., the son of Bob Jean and Betty Sue Benschoter Bonebrake. He grew up in Eudora and graduated from high school there in 1965. He attended Kansas University and was a graduate of Delaware State Police Academy at Dover, Del., in 1968. He owned and operated Patchworks Screen Printing until 1993 and then went to work as an engineer for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad until his death. He was a volunteer for the Emergency Preparedness as a Sky Warn Volunteer. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Eudora and held several offices in the church.
He married Isabelle Frances Maisch on Nov. 4, 1978, in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Jesse, Dustin and Russell, all of the home; two daughters, Dixie Bonebrake, of the home, and Bobbie Bonebrake, Overland Park; two brothers, Tim, Eudora, and Steve, Lawrence; and a sister, Susan Baldwin, Mavisdale, Va.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Eudora Memorial Chapel, where the family will meet with them.
The family suggests memorials to the Leukemia Society. They may be sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
