A fourth suspect was charged Tuesday in Douglas County District Court in connection with last month's armed robbery of a man who was exercising his dog in Riverfront Park.
Terje R. Revenew, 17, 1783 W. 26th, was charged with one count of aggravated robbery. He is to appear back in court later today for a preliminary hearing.
Two other suspects, Jesse E. Staab, 18, 1301 W. 24th, and Shawn Ericksen, 18, 2434 W. 24th Ter., were arrested last week. They also are scheduled to appear in court later today.
A 17-year-old Lawrence youth, Joshua R. Lange, 2504 Century Dr., also was detained last week. He is to appear back in court Dec. 15 on a juvenile charge of aggravated robbery.
The charges stemmed from a Nov. 21 incident during which a 48-year-old Lawrence man was robbed of his wallet. The man said he had gone to the park to exercise his dog.
A police report says that during the robbery, one of the suspects told the victim he had a knife and another struck him in the face with a shotgun.
