Baldwin Services for Keith D. McClain, 57, Baldwin City, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Baldwin, with the Rev. Gerald Sheeds officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin.
Mr. McClain died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at work at the Allen Press plant in Lawrence.
He was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Paul Keith and Edna Lewis McClain.
He grew up in Waterloo and attended and graduated from Catholic schools there.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1957.
Mr. McClain lived in DeSoto, Eudora, Kansas City and Lawrence for many years before moving to Baldwin two years ago.
He worked for Adia Temporary Personnel Services and had spent the last year and a half at Allen Press.
He married Carey Nelson Rhine on Aug. 12, 1994, in Overland Park. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Duane, Bonner Springs, Greg, Olathe, and Mike and David, both of Lawrence; three daughters, Shirley Downey, Overland Park, Susan McBride, Olathe, and Saundra Stefferii, Memphis, Tenn.; his mother, Edna McClain, Los Angeles; three brothers, John, Albuquerque, N.M., Steve, Denver, and Matt, San Leandro, Calif.; a sister, Mary Logan, Carlin, Nev.; a stepdaughter, Rebecka Tittle, Houston; a stepson, David Rhine, Paola; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the Keith McClain Memorial Fund, which will be designated later by the family. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home.
