Services for Naomi Perdue Bereiter, 87, Oskaloosa, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence with Reverend Steve Wintermantel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bereiter died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, in Oskaloosa.
She was born October 18, 1908, in Mitchell, the daughter of Bruce and Lorah Francis Wells.
She married George R. Perdue in 1926. He died in 1960. She then married Francis E. Bereiter. He died in 1980.
She was an LPN and a homemaker who lived in Lawrence all of her life until she moved to Oskaloosa in 1980.
Mrs. Bereiter was a charter member and past president of F.O.E. Auxiliary No. 309, Lawrence, and a member of the Church of Christ, Oskaloosa.
Survivors include two sons, George Burton Perdue, Perry, and Bruce R. Perdue, Dayton, Ohio; one daughter, Doris L. Bateson, McLouth; one sister, Phyllis Thompson, Troy, Mo.; one brother, O. Bill Wells, Fairfield, Calif.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, where the family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggest memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. sent in care of the mortuary.
