— Services for Julia M. Schamle, 96, Ottawa, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa, with the Rev. Tony Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Ottawa.

Mrs. Schamle died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1995, at Ottawa Retirement Village.

She was born April 29, 1899, near Overbrook, the daughter of Charles and Jennie Bourke Fawl.

Mrs. Schamle had lived in Franklin County since 1944 and in Ottawa since 1982. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Altar Society, the Senior Club and the E.H.U. Community Club.

She married Charles Jacob Schamle on Jan. 18, 1922, in Scranton. He died July 14, 1971.

Survivors include two sons, Donald R., Wellsville, and Dale A., Hutchinson; a daughter, Darlene Cook, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Tutcher, Bainbridge, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles. He died Sept. 22, 1991.

Friends may call from noon today until 7 p.m. Tuesday, when a rosary will be said. Visitation will follow.

The family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the church's school or to a charity of the donor's choice.
