— Services for Ruth E. Donner, 86, Oskaloosa, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Southern Baptist Church, Oskaloosa, with the Rev. Paul Reed officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Donner died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Hickory Point Care Center, Oskaloosa.

She was born April 18, 1909, in St. John, the daughter of Charlie and Luella Boland Donner.

She grew up in Great Bend and attended school there. She had lived in the Oskaloosa area since 1946, moving from Baxter Springs. She was a nurse's aide at Joplin Nursing Home in McLouth and worked at the Sunflower Ordnance Plant in DeSoto for many years. She retired in 1972.

She also worked with her husband on the family farm in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Donner was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Oskaloosa.

She married George W. Donner on Aug. 28, 1927, in Pratt. He died Dec. 22, 1969.

Survivors include a son, George M. Donner, Missouri City, Mo.; two daughters, Dolores Hornback, McLouth, and Katherine Kelly, Lawrence; a brother, Orville Donner, Great Bend; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
