General Motors Corp. has completed a $200,000 commitment for Kansas University's School of Engineering, KU announced today.
The gift is providing support for the school's computer laboratories and minority engineering programs through the KU Endowment Association.
The gift was made possible though the efforts of Richard Lee, executive in charge of North American Export Sales for the company, KU said.
Lee serves as the company's key executive liaison with KU. He graduated from the school in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in business and in 1978 with a master's degree in business administration.
