A Baldwin police spokesperson said Arbogast was traveling through the intersection at 10th and Ames when her car collided with a car driven by Stanwix. Both drivers left the scene of the accident. Arbogast later was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital while Stanwix was taken to the hospital by Douglas County Ambulance Service.
Arbogast was cited for no proof of insurance, obstruction of legal process, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and having an open container in the car. Stanwix was cited for leaving the scene of an injury accident, failure to report the accident, failure to yield, no proof of insurance and driving on a suspended license. Both were arrested and taken to Douglas County Jail on bond of $1,391 each. Arbogast was released from jail Sunday, and Stanwix remained in jail this morning.
