— Graveside services with Masonic burial rite for Alvin Leroy Cramer, 78, Chanute, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hillside Cemetery, Toledo, with the Rev. Park Burkhart officiating.

Mr. Cramer died Sunday, July 3, 1994, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, Chanute.

He was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Saffordville, the son of Alvin and Gladys Nelson Cramer. He grew up in the Saffordville area and graduated from high school there.

Mr. Cramer married Helen C. Eubank on June 21, 1941, in Emporia. The couple moved to Chanute in 1963.

Mr. Cramer worked as a roadmaster for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway for 42 years.

He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Chanute, and Lodge No. 395, A.F.&A.M.;, Saffordville.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Alvin O., Overland Park; four daughters, Patricia Bay and Beverly Elders, both of Wichita, Carol Lynn Slattery, Dodge City, and Raeann Brown, Lawrence; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson Mortuary, Chanute. The family suggests memorials to the First Church of the Nazarene Youth Fund.
