- A Eudora man remained in the Douglas County Jail this morning following his arrest about 9:15 p.m. Thursday during the execution of a search warrant by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Unit in the 1200 block of Maple. Officers seized what they believed to be a half-pound of processed marijuana and a small quantity of what is believed to be methamphetamine. Douglas County Sheriff Loren Anderson said the arrest culminated an investigation that began in June 1993 after authorities received citizen complaints about activities at the residence. The man was booked into jail in connection with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and violation of the Kansas Drug Tax Stamp Act. Officers from the drug unit, the Eudora Police Department and the sheriff's department assisted in executing the search warrant.
