Services for Wayne Lavern Reusch, 72, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence, with the Rev. Cheryl Somers-Ingersol officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Reusch died Friday, Aug. 19, 1994, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 4, 1922, in Eudora, the son of Robert Jacob and Edith Edelbrock Reusch. He was raised in Eudora and attended public schools there.
Mr. Reusch lived in Eudora until 1951, when he moved to Lawrence.
He was a graduate of the Kansas City School of Watchmaking, and was a watch repairman for more than 30 years at Briman's Jewelry Store, Topeka. He retired in July 1992.
A member of the American Watchmaking Assn., Mr. Reusch enjoyed repairing and collecting antique watches and clocks. He also enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Reusch married Dorothy Mae Erwin on Sept. 30, 1941, in Eudora. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Wayne Jr., John and Gary, all of Lawrence; two brothers, Merl, Tonganoxie, and Delbert, Eudora; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will meet with friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Audio Reader at Kansas University, Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. or American Heart Assn. Memorials may be sent in care of the mortuary.
