— Services for Flossie M. King, 86, Leavenworth, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Pentecostal Church in Leavenworth with the Rev. Leland Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Hubble Hill Cemetery here.

Mrs. King died Sunday, July 31, 1994, at Cushing Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 29, 1907, in Leavenworth County, the daughter of John and Blanche Hicks Harvey.

She was a homemaker and worked as a housekeeper and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She married Silas L. King on March 20, 1926, in Leavenworth. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Charles L. and John H., both of Lawrence; five daughters, Flossie R. Brown and Delores J. King, Leavenworth; Margaret B. Gordon, Minot, N.D.; Wilma J. Gray, Aurora, Colo., and Florence G. Wilson, East Chicago, Ind.; 30 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Browning, in 1982.

The family will have a wake service at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Pentecostal Church. Davis Funeral Chapel of Leavenworth is in charge of arrangements.
