Services for Leo E. Ousdahl, 81, Lawrence, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Charles Gilmore officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Ousdahl died Friday, April 22, 1994, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 1, 1912, in Jefferson County, the son of Elmer and Ollie Coffman Ousdahl.
Mr. Ousdahl, who lived in Douglas County most of his life, was the retired manager of the physical plant at Kansas University, having worked there 20 years before retiring in 1976.
Before working at KU, he had worked at the First National Bank and, during World War II, at the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant. Mr. Ousdahl also had sold cars for the Morgan Mack Ford agency in Lawrence.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church; Acacia Lodge No. 9, AF & AM; Scottish Rite Bodies; Abdallah Shrine of Kansas City, Kan.; the Lawrence Shrine Club and the Fire Brigade of Lawrence. Other memberships include: Elks Lodge No. 595; member and past president of the Mount Oread Aerie No. 309 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; the Retired Eagles Activity Club; and member and past noble grand of International Order of Odd Fellows No. 4.
He married Elvia Garner March 4, 1933, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Gene, Lawrence; two daughters, Gloria Gaston, Marysville, and Judy Baldwin, Lawrence; a brother, Wilford, Lawrence; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
