Services for Kenneth Bernard Noever, 83, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Charles Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Noever died Thursday, March 31, 1994, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He had been a resident of Lawrence since moving here from Wellington, Mo. in 1925. He was an electrical engineer and had retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital in the mid-1970s.

He was born Dec. 11, 1910, in Wellington, Mo., the son of Albert and Mae Bryant Noever.

He worked at Hercules Inc. and Tanner & Mitchell Engineering of Kansas City, Mo. After his retirement from Lawrence Memorial Hospital, he worked part-time at Capital Federal Savings and Loan in Lawrence.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He also was a member of Lawrence Lodge No. 6, AF&AM;, and Scottish Rite Bodies, both of Lawrence. He was a former member of Abdallah Shrine in Kansas City, Kan.

He married Mildred V. Lemon on March 21, 1936, in Lawrence. She died May 8, 1979.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhetta Jo Noever, Lawrence; a son, Richard Noever, Lawrence; several nieces and a nephew.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the service time Monday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorials may be sent in care of the mortuary.
