Cabool, Mo. — Services for Jerry D. Coble, 34, rural Baldwin, Kan., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fairview Pentecostal Holiness Church here with the Rev. David Jet officiating. Burial will follow at Bado Cemetery near Cabool.
Mr. Coble died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1993, at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., of injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident Oct. 23 about one-half mile south of Lawrence.
He was born Feb. 13, 1959, at Lawrence, Kan., the son of James Isaac and Beulah Meings Coble.
He had lived most of his life in the Lawrence area.
A member of the National Rifle Assn. and ABATE of Kansas, Mr. Coble worked for W.A. Dunbar Construction Co. the past 17 years as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include three sons, Rodney, James and Lester, all of the home; a brother, Jeffrey, Baldwin; his parents, James, Baldwin, and Beulah, Liberty, Mo.; three sisters, Vickie Flippin, Wichita, Valerie Coble, Cabool, and Vonda Scheets, Cabool; and grandparents, Lester and Bertie Coble, Cabool.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin. Friends may call from noon until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
