DANVILLE, ILL. — Services for the Rev. Michael Dean Proctor Sr., 44, a longtime minister in Eudora, Kan., will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Assembly of God Church, Danville, with the Rev. Dennis Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery in Danville.
The Rev. Proctor died Thursday, May 6, 1993, at his home in Danville.
He was born May 22, 1948, in Danville, the son of Eugene and Hazel Hobbs Proctor.
The Rev. Proctor graduated from Danville Junior College and Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. He was a minister at the Assembly of God Church in Phillipsburg, Kan., prior to 1978 and the Assembly of God Church in Eudora from 1978 to 1990.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Danville and the Men's Ministries, and he coached the church softball team and a Little League team.
He married Mary Dill on July 3, 1970, in Danville.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Dean; two daughters, Mary Michelle and Mary Rachelle; his parents; a brother, Thomas; and a sister, Jeanie Hughes, all of Danville.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home, Danville.
