FORMER KU PROF NAMED TO MINNESOTA REGENTS

A former Kansas University administrator has been been named to the University of Minnesota Board of Regents.

William Hogan, Minnetonka, Minn., received a six-year term on the Board of Regents on April 28.

Hogan, former KU associate executive vice chancellor, was on the KU's engineering faculty from 1973 to 1984. He was also an associate dean in the engineering school.

He left KU for a job at Honeywell Inc. in Minneapolis, Minn. He's now vice president for corporate operations and quality at Medtronic Inc. in Minneapolis.
