Services for Marguerite Kasold Schwarz, 87, Springfield, Mo., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lawrence. The Rev. Charles Gilmore will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Schwarz died Friday, April 30, 1993, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.
She was born Sept. 21, 1905, in Worden to Paul and Adelina Schultz Kasold. She lived most of her life in Lawrence and moved to Springfield two years ago. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Schwarz was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Service Class and former Worthy Matron of Adah Chapter No. 7 Order of the Eastern Star, Lawrence. She also belonged to Quivira Club.
She married Oscar Schwarz on May 25, 1941, in Lawrence. He died Nov. 29, 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Jehle Nossaman, Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The family will meet with friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
The family suggests memorials to Douglas County Heart Fund or the Kidney Foundation in care of the mortuary.
