— Services for Gordon M. Fulcher, 81, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary, with the Rev. Virgil Brady officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence.

Mr. Fulcher died today, March 29, 1993, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He had been living at the Eudora Nursing Center.

He was born March 24, 1912, in London, Ontario, Canada, the son of George and Hilda M. Marshall Fulcher. He had lived in Lawrence for many years before moving to Eudora.

Mr. Fulcher was a real estate agent for several years and had worked for the Benton Agency in Lawrence before retiring. He had formerly worked for the J.C. Penney Co. in Indiana and Michigan. He moved to Lawrence to work for the Miller-Jones Shoe Co.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 309 in Lawrence.

He married Della Best on June 4, 1938, in Port Huron, Mich. She died May 15, 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Shranklen, Topeka; a son, Norman Fulcher, Eudora; a brother, the Rev. Jack Fulcher, Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Eleanor Biernat, Spring Hill, Fla., and Marge Zimmer, Port Huron, Mich.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Eudora Nursing Center or to the Eagles Heart Fund and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
