— Services for Mont Carter Booher, 76, Kincaid, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kunkel Funeral Chapel here with the Rev. Clyde Noyce officiating. Burial will be in Kincaid Cemetery.

Mr. Booher, died Friday, March 12, 1993, at Kincaid, the son of Ernest and Lucille Van Buskirk Booher.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Booher married Louise B. Bass on Sept. 25, 1937, at Winfield. She died April 21, 1990.

He worked in the hardware business in Kincaid with his parents and his brother, David Booher, Lawrence.

After serving in the Navy, Mr. Booher worked for the U.S. Post Office in Kincaid and served as postmaster from 1972 until he retired in 1982.

Mr. Booher was a member of the Kincaid United Methodist Church; Kincaid Lodge No. 338, A.F.&A.M.; for 46 years; the Scottish Rite bodies at Fort Scott; and the Mirza Shrine Temple at Pittsburg.

Survivors include his brother and three sisters, Katherine Smethers, Kansas City, Mo.; Ernestine Elliott, Paola, and Margaret Evans, Kincaid.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Kunkel Funeral Chapel, Moran.
