Kansas City, Mo. Services for Shirley Jean Floyd, 61, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton, Kan.
Mrs. Floyd died Thursday, June 17, 1993, at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born May 12, 1932, the daughter of Lewis and Vivian Johnson in Mapleton.
Mrs. Floyd was educated in Osawatomie schools before moving to Kansas City, Mo., to work as a nurse's aide. She married Kenneth Floyd, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Lonnie, Lawrence; four daughters, Wynona Jackson and Dorla Wilburn, both of Lawrence, Teri Dew, Topeka, and Toni Floyd, Kansas City; three brothers, Lewis Johnson, Los Angeles, Dickie Johnson and LaVan Johnson, both of Lawrence; four sisters, Diana Coleman, Falls Church, Va., Sharon Stovall, Topeka, Marsha Martin and Marva Kimball, both of Lawrence; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapel, 1800 E. Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, Mo., which is handling arrangements.
