A Mass of Resurrection for Ida Murphy, 90, Lawrence, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Shaughnessy officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mrs. Murphy died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1993, at her home.
She was born July 12, 1902, in Rochester, N.Y., to Henry and Marion Zimmerman Solfrank. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Rochester and lived in Amherst, N.Y. for more than 48 years before moving to Lawrence 19 years ago.
Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker, a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Amherst, N.Y. and Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence, and a member of the Alvamar Country Club.
She married Thomas S.C. Murphy on Jan. 24, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y. He died in March 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Florence McNicoll, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A rosary service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to the donor's choice, in care of the mortuary.
