Services for Gerald Linton "Jerry" House, 65, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Charles E. Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. House died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1993, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He had been a resident of Lawrence since returning here from Yakima, Wash., in 1954. He was employed at FMC Corp.
Mr. House was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Lawrence, the son of Leonard Clifton and Rose Mary Watkins House. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He entered the service in 1946 and served in Japan and Korea. He is a graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Kansas University and Bethany College, Lindsborg.
He was hired by FMC on June 28, 1954, as a laboratory technician, was promoted to senior laboratory technician in 1960, to shift supervisor in 1974 and to training and development coordinator in 1978. He retired Jan. 28, 1993.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Jayhawk Kiwanis Club.
He married Harriet Helen Schmidtgall on Oct. 4, 1951, in Athena, Ore. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a brother, Leonard E. House, Kansas City, Kan.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church in care of the mortuary.
