Ottawa Services for Jason E. Booth, 17, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ottawa University Chapel with the Rev. William R. Weber and the Rev. Dale Lane officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
Jason died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, in Ottawa.
He was born July 22, 1976, in Lawrence, the son of Jerome E. and Lynn P. Cochran Booth. He grew up in Ottawa and attended Eisenhower Elementary School and Ottawa Middle School. He was a senior at Ottawa High School.
Jason loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had previously participated in football and wrestling at Ottawa High School. He also had been employed with the Sirloin Stockade restaurant.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and participated in youth group activities at the church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lynne and Larry Evans, Ottawa; his father and stepmother, Jerome E. and Vicki Booth, Lawrence; two brothers, Nathan and Lance, Ottawa; one sister, Kori, Ottawa; and two grandmothers, Neva Thompson, Ottawa, and Easta Booth, Wellsville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn.
The family suggests memorials to the Calvary Baptist Church in care of the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Thursday until noon Friday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home. Friends also may call from noon until service time Friday at the Ottawa University Chapel.
