HAMILTON, MONT. — Services for Norman E. Allison, 73, of Victor, were to be this afternoon at the Dowling Funeral Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Roger Lamberson officiating. Burial was to follow in Corvallis Cemetery.
Mr. Allison died of cancer Aug. 14 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
He was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Kanwaka, Kan., the son of William N. and Mabel Allison. He graduated from Lawrence (Kan.) High School and the University of Montana.
Mr. Allison was a civil engineer with the U.S. Forest Service and designed roads in the Clearwater, Lewis and Clark, Salmon and Idaho Panhandle national forests.
He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during World War II.
He married Olga Heinle on Jan. 4, 1947, in Missoula. She died in 1985.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristy A. Allison, Lafayette, Colo., and Cindy C. Lindskog, Bozeman; three brothers, Morgan, Lawrence, Kan., Dale, Taos, N.M., and Larry, Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
