LOUISBURG — Services for Leura Adeline Aiken, 93, Louisburg, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Louisburg United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Louisburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Aiken died Thursday, April 29, 1993, at a Louisburg nursing home.
She was born May 23, 1899, in Louisburg, the daughter of Joseph and Elma Combs Whitaker. She lived in Louisburg all of her life.
Mrs. Aiken was a member of Eastside Extension Home Unit in Louisburg.
She married Cyrus S. Aiken on Dec. 20, 1922, in Louisburg. He survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Harold and Cyrus H., Louisburg; Earl, Sweet Springs, Mo., and David, Lawrence; two daughters, Elma Link, Stilwell, and Ruth Phillips, Louisburg; two brothers, Truman Whitaker, Louisburg, and Leonard Whitaker, Los Angeles; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
