— Four people arrested Tuesday in connection with the robbery of a Franklin County restaurant and a high-speed chase following the robbery were charged in Franklin County District Court Thursday.

William A. Jackson, 32, Lisa R. Horn, 29, Deborah R. Price, 34, and Terry G. Revels, 29, all of Kansas City, Mo., each face charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and possession of cocaine. Bond was set at $50,000 for each, and all four remained in Franklin County Jail today.

The Country Inn Restaurant, on Interstate 35 at the LeLoup interchange south of Wellsville, was robbed Tuesday night by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun. Soon after the robbery, an Ottawa police officer spotted a Ford Bronco that matched the description of the vehicle used by the robbery suspects.

Ottawa Police, Franklin County sheriff's officers, and the Kansas Highway Patrol pursued the suspects for 40 minutes on I-35 at speeds approaching 100 mph. The chase ended in Osage County, when the Bronco sideswiped a Highway Patrol car and then overturned.

Revels was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, where he was kept overnight for observation. Horn was treated and released at the hospital, and Jackson and Price were taken to the Kansas University Medical Center. Later, all were released to the custody of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.

A representative of the sheriff's department said restaurant employees estimated $500 was taken in the robbery. Officials recovered money after the robbery. But because it was not clear exactly how much money was missing, officials aren't sure whether all of the stolen money was recovered.
