— Services for Virginia L. Kelly, 74, Merriam, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Funeral Home in Overland Park with the Rev. Roland H. Boehnke officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Overland Park.

Mrs. Kelly died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1992, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 10, 1917, in Lawrence, to Lewis and Emma Steinbring Beurmann. She lived in Lawrence until moving to the Kansas City area in 1936.

Mrs. Kelly booked films for Dickinson movie theaters for 27 years until retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission and the church Altar Guild, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and Soroptimist International of Shawnee Mission, and a charter member of the Overland Park Host Lioness Club.

She married Paul Kelly, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Michael, of Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Cyndee Simpson, St. Joseph, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
