GALESBURG, ILL. — Memorial services for Bill R.W. Parker, 76, Galesburg, Ill., were held Sept. 24 at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Galesburg.
Mr. Parker died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1992, at a Galesburg hospital. He was cremated.
He was born April 15, 1916, in Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Parker.
He was the sales manager for Pabst Brewing Co. in Peoria Heights, Ill., from 1953 until he retired in 1982. In the 1940s, he had lived in Lawrence and worked at Kansas Electric Power, which now is Kansas Power and Light.
Mr. Parker was a member of the Pabst Retirees Club and Arrowhead Country Club. He was past president of the Peoria Heights School Board and a member and past president of the Peoria Sellers and Ad Club.
He married Joan K. Fuller on April 14, 1972, in Galesburg. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Steven, Bartonville, Ill.; one daughter, Dana J. Parker, Denver; one stepson, Hank Muntz, Peoria; and one stepdaughter, Lee Ann Ysunza, Martinez, Calif.
He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and one sister.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
