— Services for William Hugh Beebe, 77, Louisburg, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church here. Burial will be in at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley.

Mr. Beebe died Friday, Oct. 2, 1992, at Miami County Hospital.

He was born March 4, 1915, at Delavan County, Minn. After living in Chicago, he moved to Stanley in 1946. He moved from Stanley to Louisburg in 1978.

Mr. Beebe worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in the Shawnee Mission area and was a World War II veteran.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Louisburg, the Stanley Masonic Lodge No. 444, was a past patron of the Stanley Order of Eastern Star No. 495 and was a member of Louisburg OES No. 384.

He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 34, Johnson County, and held many offices with that organization. He was past chairman of Shepherds of Madonna White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 21 and also was a member of John P. Hand Post. No. 250 of the American Legion, Louisburg.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Mae Beebe, of the home; three daughters, Judith Alexander, Lawrence, Billie Hollins, Louisburg, and Jayne Morey, Louisburg; two stepdaughters, Verna Hannagan, Topeka, and Mary Fogarty, Olathe; a stepson, Virgil "Joni" Dedrick, Stanley; two sisters, Mary Verba and Myra McCorkendale, both of Stanley; a brother, James Beebe, Kansas City, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Runyan Chapel, Louisburg, where Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to Stanley Masonic Lodge No. 444.
