— Services for Myra Patterson, 87, Perry, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Perry United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Perry.

Mrs. Patterson died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1992, in an Oskaloosa nursing home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1904, near Oskaloosa, the daughter of Isiah and Maude Oswald Dick. She spent most of her life in Jefferson County.

Mrs. Patterson was a cook at Perry Grade School for several years. She also was a member of the Perry United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She married Edgar L. Patterson on April 12, 1922, in Carbondale. He died in 1967.

Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Schafer, Perry, and Oleta Schafer, Topeka; a sister, Grace Artzer, Topeka; four brothers, Kenneth, Arnold and William (Bob) Dick, all of Topeka, and Armon Dick, Homeland, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Perry United Methodist Church.

The family will meet with friends from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
