Mclouth Services for Kenneth H. Thompson, 52, McLouth, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in McLouth with the Revs. Ray Talbot and Keith Bradberry officiating. Burial will be in Wildhorse Cemetery, McLouth.
Mr. Thompson died of an apparent heart attack Tuesday, March 24, 1992, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Illinois. He had lived in McLouth since 1971, after he moved from Kansas City, Kan. He was employed by Yellow Freight Co. of Kansas City, Mo.,
Mr. Thompson was a member of First Baptist Church, McLouth; Lyra Masonic Lodge No. 0256, McLouth; Rinda Chapter No. 82, Order of the Eastern Star, Tonganoxie; Valley of Kansas City; Scottish Rite; and the Teamsters union, Local No. 41, Kansas City Mo.
He married Jeanie Ratliff Wolfe in Gardner, and she survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Scott Thompson, McLouth, and Dean Wolfe, Gardner; three daughters, Kelly Toplikar, Olathe, Angela Walker, Tonganoxie, and Kristy Wolfe of the home; his mother, Eva Thompson, Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, Harold Kansas City, Kan., Donald, Olathe, and James, Marshalltown, Iowa; three sisters, Lou White, Highland, Ind., and Wanda Upton and Marjorie Kutzner, both of Olathe; and nine grandchildren.
The family will meet with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Fund or to the church in care of the funeral home.
